Rewards, streaks and achievements

Four ways to earn, none of which require spending anything: finishing a session, claiming the daily reward, keeping a streak, and completing achievements. Here is exactly how each is calculated.

Every payout on this platform is decided by a server from something that actually happened. That is the rule the rest of this page is a consequence of.

Finishing a session

When you finish a game, the moves you made are replayed on our servers. If the replay agrees with the result you reported, the session is accepted and it pays.

What it pays is a base amount, set per game, multiplied by how well you did: every thousand points adds one multiple, up to five times the base. A weak run still pays something — a reward of zero teaches people to abandon runs rather than finish them — and a very strong one pays five times, and no more, however high the score climbs.

The daily reward

There is one reward you claim rather than earn: the daily one. It becomes available once per day and stays there until you take it.

The day is counted in UTC, not in your local time. This is worth knowing if you play late in the evening: depending on where you are, "today" for the streak may already be tomorrow, or still yesterday. Choosing UTC is deliberate — a day that moved with each player would break or double a streak every time somebody crossed a timezone or a country changed its clocks.

The streak

Your streak is the number of consecutive days on which you claimed the daily reward. It is never a number your device sends: it is recounted from your history every time it is asked for, which is why it cannot drift and cannot be edited.

A streak is live if you claimed today or yesterday. Miss a full day and it goes back to one — but your best streak is kept for good, as a record of the longest run you have ever had.

What a streak is for: some rewards require one. A reward may be set to need a minimum streak, a minimum level, or a full account rather than a guest, and the app tells you which condition you have not met rather than showing a button that fails.

Achievements

Achievements watch what you do across every game and unlock on their own. They are counted from the same verified events as everything else — a session that was refused counts toward nothing.

Advertising, and what it is not

You will be shown an advert only when you choose to watch one, in exchange for a reward you can see before it starts. No advert interrupts a game in progress, and none is ever required to keep playing. If you never watch one, the only thing you lose is the extra reward.

Your balances, your streak and your recent rewards are all on your account page.
