Frequently asked questions
Answers about accounts, wallets, rewards, fair play and privacy in ELK GameVerse.
Most answers are one of three
Most questions about ELK GameVerse come down to the same three facts, so it is worth stating them once:
- Your account is the platform's, not a game's. Progress, balance and
records survive uninstalling any single game.
- Scores are validated on the server. A rejected score is almost always a
session the server could not replay, usually after a dropped connection.
- Everything is free to play. Purchases and rewarded advertising exist and
are optional; nothing behind them is required to finish a game.
If your question is not below
Support is a person reading your message, not a form that closes itself. Write from the contact page with your ELK ID if you have one, and say what you expected to happen and what happened instead — that alone answers most of it in one reply rather than four.
What is ELK GameVerse?
A home for several games rather than a single one. One account, one wallet and one set of achievements follow you across every game we publish — so time spent in one is never lost when you open another.
Is it free to play?
Yes. Every game is free to play from the first level to the last. Nothing is locked behind a payment, and no purchase makes a puzzle solvable that was not solvable before.
Do I need an account to play?
No, you can start straight away. An account is what lets progress, currency and achievements survive a lost phone or follow you to another device — so it is worth creating before you have much to lose.
Which games can I play right now?
Four: a match-three empire builder set across Africa, a turn-based Zulu campaign, a fresco workshop in Renaissance Rome, and a highland supply puzzle in the Inca Andes. Each has its own rules; all share one account.
How do coins and rewards work?
You earn them by finishing a session, keeping a daily streak, or completing an achievement. Every award is calculated on our servers from the game you actually played — which is why a reward can be trusted, and why it cannot be edited from a phone.
What is a daily streak?
A count of consecutive days on which you finished at least one game. It raises what a session pays, and it resets if you skip a day — a small reason to come back, not a punishment for having a life.
Can I lose my progress?
Not if you have an account. Progress, currency and achievements live on our servers, not on your device, so a new phone signs in and finds everything where you left it.
Which languages is it available in?
Eight: English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Hindi and Kiswahili. Arabic reads right to left throughout. Change it in your account settings, or simply visit the address for your language.
What devices does it work on?
Any modern browser, on a phone, tablet or computer — nothing to install. Mobile applications are in preparation; the download page will say the moment one is available rather than promise a date we cannot keep.
How are leaderboards ranked?
By score, with the earlier submission ahead when two are equal — so a tie is broken by who got there first, not by chance. Only sessions our servers have replayed and accepted can enter a board.
Why was my score rejected?
Our servers replay every finished game from the moves you made. If the replay does not reach the same result, the session is refused. Nearly always this is a connection dropping mid-game rather than anything you did — play it again, and tell support if it repeats.
Are the historical settings accurate?
We build on sourced history and say plainly where a rule is a design choice rather than a record. Where the evidence is thin or disputed, the game says so instead of inventing a certainty — the notes beside each campaign mark which is which.
Will I be shown adverts?
Only ones you choose to watch, in exchange for a reward you can see before you start. No advert interrupts a game in progress, and none is required to continue playing.
What data do you collect about me?
What running the platform needs: your sign-in details, what you played, what you earned and what you bought. We do not sell it. You can request a copy or ask for your account to be deleted from your account settings.
How do I delete my account?
From your account settings, in one place, without writing to anyone. Deletion removes your profile, progress and personal data. Records we are legally required to keep, such as purchase receipts, are retained for as long as the law requires and no longer.
Is this suitable for children?
The games contain no graphic violence and no gambling mechanics. There is no open chat between players, which removes the most common way a game becomes unsafe. Parents should still set the device controls their app store provides.
I found a bug. What should I do?
Tell us through the support page. What helps most: which game, what you were doing, what you expected and what happened instead. A screenshot is worth a paragraph.
How do I get in touch?
Through the contact page. Write in any of our eight languages — we will answer in the one you used. Account and payment questions are handled by a person, not a form letter.
