Different games, the same foundations

A game on ELK GameVerse brings its own rules and nothing else. Accounts, wallets, rewards, achievements, leaderboards, friends, notifications and purchases are the platform's, shared by all of them. A new title plugs into that rather than rebuilding it, which is why the catalogue can grow without your account changing.

Scores are earned, not reported

No game here is trusted to tell the server what you scored. Each one sends the moves it recorded; the server replays them and keeps the result of that replay. A run that cannot be reproduced is discarded rather than ranked.

It costs a few milliseconds and it is the only reason a leaderboard is worth appearing on.

The histories are real

Several of these games are set in real places and real periods. Where that is so, the history is researched and treated as history — not as a backdrop with the names changed. Where we have simplified something for play, the game says so rather than pretending otherwise.
