كيف تُلعب
المناورة
التلال تكلّف الفوج دوره كاملًا. الأنهار والغابات تحابي من يقف فيها بالفعل.
التجنيد والإطعام
المستوطنات تمنحك الرجال والمواد. الأفواج تأكل كل دور، والجيش الذي لا تستطيع إطعامه يضعف.
القتال
الخسائر تتناسب مع فارق القوة، فالنصر الضيق يتركك أضعف من أن تحتفظ بما أخذت.
الاحتفاظ
تنتهي الحملة عندما تُكسر شوكة الندواندوي، أو عندما تنفد الأدوار الستة عشر.

A carved Nguni headrest. Personal, portable and inherited, it is the kind of object that travelled with a household through exactly the upheavals this campaign is about.
No likeness of Shaka kaSenzangakhona survives that a historian would rely on. This campaign shows what the region made rather than inventing a face for him.
